My name is Juliette Duhamel. I was born in Brussels and just moved to Vilvoorde with my boyfriend and his 2 sons. Friends are my second family, nothing better than a good discussion with friends during a BBQ, with a mojito in the hand. Since I went to Adelaide-Australia for 6 months (as exchange student), I love travelling. I participated in a Erasmus program in Waterford-Ireland and then I travelled to Cuba, the US, Argentina, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc… Other than that, I have been playing the drums for 5 years now and I love TV series and fantasy literature. I also do voluntary work in the Silex asbl (organizing activities for mentally handicapped people). 

I have a master degree in Commercial & Financial Sciences (ICHEC-ISC Saint-Louis) and 10 years of experience in diverse finance departments. I started as Audit Assistant within an international consultancy firm but soon joined a company who delivers solutions for global trading as Finance & Administration Assistant. After almost 3 years, I decided to look for a new challenge and became part of a consolidation team (interim basis) for a global marketer of consumer products. I was asked to stay for another 10 months in the treasury department. Afterwards, I joined for 2 years a HR solutions company as Finance Controller. I decided to move on and started in a leading energy company as Finance Manager for 8 months. I stayed within the company for 2 years, working as Belux Finance Controller, where I had the chance to participate actively in the implementation of GSAP and as Benefrux Lubricantes Super User, where I participated in the GSAP Go Live of France.

After 2 years, they couldn’t extend my contract. As I had colleagues from TriFinance working within the company, they proposed to help me to get in touch with their mentor. TriFinance proposed the ideal solution for their client, TriFinance and myself. I joined TriFinance in June 2010 and could pursuit the job at my former employer (project basis). At that moment, I was in the middle of the France GSAP implementation. It was a crazy time: clearing old SAP systems (AP / AR, Cost Centers, Rebates contracts, etc) in order to transfer a clean situation into the new system but also testing the new process in place, especially the intercompany. My mission ended in December 2010.  

Since January 2011, I was asked to replace the Finance Manager for Benefrux. Discovering the production environment, including stock inventory, logistics implications (transport and storage tariffs) but also analyses of sales pricing calculation, impact on monthly results, material margin analyses, follow up of plant costs versus budget. It is a really interesting and challenging project.

I also find it really great that there are so many activities proposed to the community. The team behind it, is really doing a wonderful job!
